In 1836 my great great grandparents John and Elizabeth (GOUGE) CRITESER were married in Boone county Indiana. Using census schedules they were found to still be living in Boone county Indiana in 1840. Interestingly a William GOUGE was found living right next door. By 1850 John CRITESER and family emigrate to Vermillion county, Indiana.

Also living in Boone county in 1850 is my great great great grandfather Jacob JONES. In 1852 Jacob JONES becomes an Oregon Pioneer by emigrating to Roseburg, Douglas county, Oregon.
