Officially unidentified, but the photo studio location combined with what is written on the back provides clues.   Written on the back of the photograph is "Miss Egerer to Mrs. Lizzie Jones".   The Preschern family was in Denver, Colorado prior to Roseburg, Douglas County, Oregon.   I did a little internet searching and found that a Mary EGERER married a Homer SHEFFIELD.   Later in the photo album there is a photograph of Homer Sheffield junior.   So they are either friends of the family or relatives of the Prescherns.   A logical conclusion is the photograph is of Mary EGERER.   Can you clarify the PRESCHERN, EGERER and SHEFFIELD connections?   Can you positively identify the woman in the photo?   walt@criteser.org
