Only the year the picture was taken, 1898, was written on the back of the original photograph.   So this is the first mystery photo in the album.   It is easy to imagine it is Jacob and Lizzie's first three children (Pearl, Ben, Dessie).   I am not sure.   I have very few "known" photos of Pearl, Ben and Dessie as children.   In comparing photographs, I think the oldest girl in the photo looks like Jacob's niece Emma Fisher.   Maybe the photograph is Pearl, Ben and Dessie or maybe it is Emma Fisher and her siblings Ella and Chester, or maybe three different kids all together.   Do you have known photographs to compare too?   If you can identify the children in picture JWJ004, please send me an email message with their names.   walt@criteser.org
